Finishes and Hardware

The big manufacturers try desperately to make new wood look old using various techniques. Nothing even comes close to Mother Nature’s slow aging process. Our finish is designed to bring out the historic beauty of the wood.

The finish applied to our Shenandoah Farm Tables is the primary difference between our line and those of our competitors.

We begin by first hand picking barn wood in the same color tones. Our finishing technique then gives the wood a soft luster while not removing its inherent character.

You can run your hands over our barn wood furniture and it is soft to the touch. All visible surfaces are planed, sanded, stained, and finished with a pre-catalyzed lacquer.

The multi-step finishing process gives each Shenandoah table tremendous depth, accentuating the wood grain patterns and the natural aged beauty.

A variety of solid metal hardware is available to beautifully complement aged wood and blend with your home’s decor.
